Dear friends,

I am very satisfied with and happy about the great achievements we have successfully reached recently.

Our four children attending elementary school are making incredible progress, and things are changing for the better at pre-school as well. Maryna, the woman who works with me, has been a great help for me, so that now I can spend much more time with the children.

Unfortunately, last month was full of worries and anxieties.

An epidemic of a gastro-intestinal disease broke out throughout Botswana. A lot of children died. Our children were not spared as well: they all suffered from high temperature and a serious form of diarrhoea. The youngest grew weak rapidly, and I was very worried about them. Thank God, they managed to recover little by little and they are all fine now.

Our Day-Care children in D. belong to the poorest among the poorest. They are hungry, many of them are ill, lonely, and no-one has ever cared about them.

Thanks to your huge sensitivity and to your great support we are able to keep on helping these poor children.

Please stay close to us this year as well.

Love,

Cecilia
